We raise over 140 varieties of tall bearded iris, and 50 varieties of daylilies on our bluegrass farm. We have dwarf, border and intermediate, as well as a nice selection of reblooming iris. We are celebrating our fourth year of raising and selling our iris to the public. Winter has been fairly mild, but as always we look forward to spring and the magnificent bloom season. Early bloomers are opening now, and we are anxiously waiting for the 25 new varieties we planted to send up spikes! Bloomfest begins here May 13 and runs thru May 29th, so if you find yourself in Bluegrass Country at this time of year stop on by. Located in Historic Harrodsburg,Kentucky, just 1.5 miles from Pleasant Hill Shaker Village, our farm is surrounded by gently rolling hills and beautiful horse farms - just what you expect to see in Kentucky!! Close by you will find Old Fort Harrod founded by Daniel Boone, Historic Beaumont Inn, and just a few minutes ride down the road is Constitution Square in Danville, Kentucky. There are lots of things to see and do. A number of Kentucky artisans, many of which are juried members of Kentucky Crafted and / or Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, live and work in the area.
